With “Auto”, when the iPod/iPhone becomes fully charged, the SLEEP indicator goes off and the power consumption in standby mode is reduced.
In such conditions, the power consumption of the AV receiver slightly increases. � When the “UP-A1 ChargeMode” setting is set to “On”, or to “Auto” with your iPod/iPhone recharging, the SLEEP indicator is dimly lit in standby mode. This setting cannot be selected when: – The UP-A1 Dock with docked iPod/iPhone is not connected to the AV receiver, or – The docked iPod/iPhone model is not supported.You can specify how the power is fed to your iPod/iPhone when the AV receiver is in Standby Mode. Use only with the cart, stand, PORTABLE CART WARNING tripod, bracket, or table specified by the manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug.
